Still having trouble with embedding flash in joomla 1.5 - it may be a permissions problem - easily fixed.... You may just need to remove the filtering options for super administrator - especially is you are using Joomal 1.5.8 + where the embdding of certain code is defaultly disallowed. This is a security measure - so not a bad thing - but it is possibly blocking the code you are trying to embed. A solution is to remove filtering for superadministrator only (assuming you are superadministrator). In backend, click on content (top) and drop down article manager. In article manager, click on parameters (top right). In parameters, pop-up window, scroll-down to filtering options. In the window of filtering groups, highlight all groups except super administrator – then save (top right in pop-up window).Got another flash problem? read here about removing the pesky "click to activate" flash-associated gizmo |
